Billings Orthotics & Footwear is a 100% family-run business, opening its doors in Guelph in 1995. Billings Orthotics & Footwear has been dedicated to serving its fellow community members to create a foot pain-free society.
All Orthotics are hand-made on site by Bryan himself! They are custom-made for each patient. A 3D cast is made of each patient's foot, the orthotics are made to the cast.
Meet Bryan, Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C Ped (C) )
Bryan has been a Certified Pedorthist for 30+ years. Born and raised in Guelph, he is proud to support his fellow community. As a Pedorthist, he specializes in lower limb biomechanics and the treatment of various lower limb injuries. Bryan is an expert crafter who makes all of his own devices (orthotics) and has his own lab where he produces and modifies all the devices that patients require.

He has been fortunate to work at the Athens Olympics in 2004 and has treated numerous Olympians and world-class athletes over the years. He is specialized in creating orthotics for high performance athletes and works at the University of Guelph looking after the Gryphon Sports teams.
What is a Pedorthist?
A Certified Pedorthist helps their clients by completing a comprehensive gait analysis to assess and treat biomechanical conditions of the feet and legs. By analyzing the motion of the foot during walking, underlying biomechanical problems of the feet can be identified. Therefore, the foot can be placed into correct footwear and/or shoe inserts (orthotics) to avoid future injury. From there, a fitting is completed to start the process of hand-made custom orthotics. A Certified Pedorthist can also provide consultations to recommend footwear to meet the necessary needs of the individual.
